Oliver Fischer, born in Dinkelsbühl, Germany working as a freelance photographer, visual journalist (bdfj) in Copenhagen, Stuttgart, Zurich and worldwide since 2005. A photographer, designer and craftsman with an eye for the details and a sixth sense for the special atmosphere of your event. His photographic work is focused on contemporary landscape as art, reportage, the documentation of people, their living spaces and urbanism. The whole world is changing, including the communication of values and information. He don’t want to repeat, photography for him is a great passion and elixir of life. The images are authentic and clean. With a background in mechanical engineering, organ building, graduates from the technical college in Stuttgart. He holds a diploma in design after studies in Aachen, starts his own business, since then freelance designer in the fields of photography, journalism, design and art. His work infuses tradition with refreshing energy and joy. With some of the photos I would like to try to raise awareness for the protection of nature and for the preservation of the planet and all its inhabitants.

The project "LIGHT OF PEACE" was created in deep memory of my cousin Fabian Sturm (R.I.P.), who sadly had to leave us much too early.

O life life, whimsical time
reaching from contradiction to contradiction
in progress often so bad so hard so creeping
and then all at once, with unspeakably wide
relaxed wings, resembling an angel:
O most inexplicable, O lifetime.

Of all the great daring existences
can one be more ardent and daring?
We stand and brace ourselves to our limits
And tear an unknowable in it,

(Rainer Maria Rilke)

Rest In Peace
Fabian Sturm

The Lord is my refuge, and you make the Most High your dwelling.
(Psalm 91)

When astronauts look at the Earth from space, they often feel a deep spiritual connection with it; this feeling strikes them as both terrifying and wonderful at the same time.
It is like an epiphany, all of a sudden they realize that the universe, the earth and all people are inseparably connected.
It is a moment of transformation, of catharsis — it is an irreversible change in their perception.
